About the Label
At Taraneh, we envision a world where every woman can embrace her grace and inner beauty through timeless, elegant attire. Rooted in the harmonious blend of Persian and Indian aesthetics, we believe in crafting pieces that embody the light within — empowering women to feel confident, radiant, and connected to their inner strength in every step of life. As a new brand set to launch this December, Label Taraneh will debut a thoughtfully curated range of sarees and kurtis inspired by the dual elegance of tradition and modernity.
Key Responsibilities
Concept Development: Collaborate with the creative team to design the theme, mood boards, and concepts for the debut collections.
Design and Development: Create tech packs with unique patterns, prints, and embellishments, developing colour palettes and textures that align with the brand’s identity.
Material Sourcing: Source premium fabrics and trims, and collaborate with artisans to produce exclusive materials and fabric swatches.
Production Oversight: Work with production teams to ensure accurate translation of designs into final garments, maintaining luxury standards through quality control.
Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and preferences, designing custom pieces that reflect their unique style.
Order Management: Handle client orders received through Instagram and WhatsApp, maintain organised records, and manage the database to ensure smooth communication and order fulfilment.
Innovation: Experiment with techniques like hand embroidery, traditional crafts (Zari, Kalamkari etc) to create standout designs.
Collaboration: Manage photoshoots to consistently generate high-quality content for the marketing team, showcasing the craftsmanship and story behind the designs.
Timelines and Deadlines: Ensure work is completed in alignment with the overall launch schedule.
Qualifications
A degree or diploma in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
0-2 years of experience in textile or fashion design (freshers with a strong portfolio are welcome).
Proficiency in design software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate or similar tools.
Knowledge of Indian textiles, embroidery techniques, and printing methods is a plus.
A creative mindset with excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
