A superb role as a Freelance Textile/Print Developer.
For an upcoming digitally native brand/retail company, that aims to democratise quality by making products that are functional and designed to be used and loved for a long time.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about creating original and aspirational designs. As our Designer partner you will play a pivotal role in developing innovative textile designs that integrate international trends with domestic influences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Generate highly creative design concepts by integrating international forecasted trends with domestic influences.
• Utilize strong technical knowledge of fabric bases, natural fibers, and new blended fabrics and finishes to innovate designs.
• Experiment with color, design, and texture to create unique and marketable textile products.
• Interact closely with brand designers, sales teams, and buying teams to understand and meet customer expectations.
• Collaborate with the product development team to develop fashion-forward, trendy, and innovative textile products.
• Present design concepts effectively through storytelling and technical product presentations.

You are self-motivated, driven, curious and eager to learn and make an impact. You love to take responsibility for all parts of the design process and take proudness in presenting the collections afterwards. You have a natural interest in trends and can translate them into commercial styles, where your focus always will be to add love in the products. You thrive in a dynamic and creative environment in a small team, where every day is different.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
• Progressive experience in creative designing within the textile industry.
• Strong polio showcasing creative and technical skills in textile design.
• Proficiency in design software including CAD, XD, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Penelope, Arezzo, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain concepts and technical details effectively.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to conduct market research, analyze trends, and translate findings into innovative design solutions.
