We have an opening for a GP or urgent care doctor to join our team at The Doctors Napier for our walk in acute clinic, located in the heart of the Hawkes Bay. This diverse city is renowned for excellent surf beaches, world-class chardonnay, an active arts scene and a fantastic climate!

As an experienced medical practitioner you will have sound clinical and service skills enabling you to fully utilise your expertise. The stand out GP will have great communication skills, and the ability to provide healthcare to a full range of people in our community.
Our practices are part of a family of clinically led practices within New Zealand, committed to servicing communities by designing, resourcing, and delivering high quality, customer focused, primary healthcare services.
Napier is located on the East Coast of the North Island of New Zealand in the beautiful Hawke's Bay.
Renowned for its stunning beaches and over 2,200 hours of sunshine per year, there is a lot on offer in Hawke's Bay. Outdoor activities are plentiful including tramping, fishing and cycling, Hawke's Bay has over 200kms of cycle trails on the Hawke's Bay trails (www.hbtrails.nz). The region has more than 70 wineries, 30 cellar doors and an abundance of restaurants as well as a twice-yearly art deco festival (https://artdecofestival.co.nz/).
There are great schools and childcare facilities available.

We have an opportunity for a dedicated and passionate GP to join our team. As an experienced GP ideally you will be vocationally registered or working toward this. You will be working with a team of skilled nurses and GP colleagues and an experienced administration team, supported by a dedicated Practice Manager.

Hold a current APC

This is a permanent position with negotiable hours.
