Job Description
Join Legal & General Asset Management in Cardiff as a Third Party Dealing Specialist, where you’ll play an important role at the centre of our Client Service Operations. You’ll help ensure the accurate and timely execution of client orders across our pooled investment fund range, working closely with colleagues and external partners to deliver a high‑quality, dependable service in a fast‑moving environment.

What you’ll be doing:
Executing and peer‑reviewing client orders across LGIM’s pooled fund range
Monitoring inbound dashboards and managing scheduled order uploads
Facilitating repairs and reconciling outbound unit‑dealing workflows
Signing off order completion and releasing settlement proceeds to investors and fund managers
Coordinating fund administration activities including data management and reporting
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and service providers
Managing day‑to‑day queries to support accurate transactions and strong customer outcomes
Maintaining task lists, reviewing processes, and implementing procedural enhancements
Qualifications
Who we’re looking for:
Experience working in a back‑ or middle‑office financial services environment (unit dealing experience is a strong advantage)
Understanding of key investment management activities such as Transfer Agency, Fund Accounting, Cash Management, Settlements, and Custody
Ability to follow procedures, manage risk effectively, and uphold operational controls
Strong analytical skills with advanced Microsoft Excel capability
A collaborative approach with a focus on service quality and continuous improvement
Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders
A proactive team player who maintains accuracy in a fast‑paced environment
