Job Role
Quality Control & process improvement
• Ensure quality control of raw materials and finished products.
• Lead the quality function on-site, and off-site, to ensure that products and processes comply with documented requirements, systems, and specifications.
• Manage quality standards and quality policies, measuring performance against internal and external standards
• Maintain the long-term continuity of production and service quality.
• Calibration and maintenance of testing equipment, jigs and fixtures.
• Assist in setting quality standards and ensure that production is maintained at set procedures standards.
• Inspect and test products and production processes.
• Ensure that all quality policies and procedures meet national and international standards.
• Coordination with the inter department to handle deviations in incoming raw materials.
• Coordination with Suppliers and subcontractors for the quality issues.
Handling Customer Complaints
• Handling of customer rejections for root cause analysis
• Filling CAPA and implementing the action plan wherever required
• Study & Analyze repetitive nature of complaints and work towards resolving them.
Reports & MIS:
• Prepare graphs, charts and reports from test results.
• Keep records of all tests that have been carried out.
• Maintain the company quality manual and quality records.
• Ensure that all check sheets are correctly completed, and all non-compliance found have had the correct action taken and signed off.
• Report Quality metrics and trends routinely utilizing analysis tools to determine quality performance.
• Develops and delivers effective communications that provides the Manager with appropriate awareness and/or recommendations for quality assurance standards, program updates and process changes.
Knowledge, Skills & abilities
Education - (degree / diploma) BE/ME/BTech/ - in Electronics
Experience - 5-8 years of experience in electronics manufacturing
Knowledge of Quality system (ISO +001, IATF 16+4+, ISO 14001)
Other requirements - 2 years service commitment
Location - Mahape, Navi Mumbai. Travel to other locations, if needed.
Factory timings - 0+00 to 1730, Weekly Off : Sunday
