We are seeking a skilled and experienced Power Apps + Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing applications and dashboards using Microsoft Power Platform tools, with a focus on Power Apps and Power BI.
The candidate should also be proficient in SQL and have a basic understanding of Python to support data analysis and automation tasks. This role requires a creative problem-solver who can design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions to meet business needs while leveraging the latest features of Power Apps and Power BI.
• Design, develop, and deploy Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Create interactive and visually appealing Power BI dashboards and reports using modern features such as DAX, Power Query, and AI-driven insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.
• Optimize and maintain existing Power Apps and Power BI solutions to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Utilize Python for basic data manipulation, automation, and integration tasks.
• Integrate Power Apps and Power BI with other Microsoft tools (e.g., SharePoint, Dynamics 365) and third-party systems.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in the Microsoft Power Platform and recommend innovative solutions to enhance business processes.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users to ensure effective adoption of developed solutions.
Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience developing applications and dashboards using Power Apps and Power BI.
• Proven experience with DAX, Power Query, and modern Power BI features (e.g., AI visuals,
paginated reports).
• Strong proficiency in SQL for database management and query optimization.
• Basic knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation tasks.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform administration and security best practices.
• Certifications (Preferred but not required):
• Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-+00)
• Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300)
• Microsoft Power Apps + Power Automate Solution Architect (PL-400)
• Expertise in Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) and Power BI.
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Basic proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
