Job Description
A Category Manager's role is an entrepreneurial role where you are responsible for the entire region/country/category from building, owning its display on the platform, and finally owning the PnL of the category. You will also be responsible for building new product lines under it and scaling the overall category as per business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee new and existing product line assortment and modular planning for the category.
- Owning the display and campaigns of the category on the website.
- To identify potential suppliers, negotiate with them, manage existing accounts, building relationships with partners.
- Increase the overall profitability of the category.
- Lead a team and provide overall direction for category team
- Designing and implementing new strategies for marketing and business development.
- Own the PnL of the category
Must be required -
- Minimum experience of 3 years in the travel/e-commerce industry
- Sound knowledge of online travel
Passionate about traveling and have traveled extensively
