Tiler

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wall and Floor Tiler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating beautiful, high-quality spaces and be driven to deliver customer satisfaction in a team environment.

Your duties will include:

· examining plans, measuring and marking surfaces and laying out work

· preparing wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout and adhesive, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning surfaces

· spreading adhesive onto prepared surfaces and tiles, and setting tiles in position

· using tile-cutting tools to cut and shape tiles needed for edges and corners, and around objects such as fittings and pipes

· ensuring tiles are correctly aligned and spaced

· grouting tiles, and cleaning and removing excess grout

· applying waterproofing systems

· may lay floors of granolithic, terrazzo, cement or similar composition

· may lay coloured tiles in patterns to create mosaics

The successful applicant will need to have:

Proven experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler.
Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a qualified wall and floor tiler.
Strong knowledge of tiling techniques and materials.
Ability to interpret architectural drawings and execute designs accurately.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines.
Ability to lead.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
