Job Description
We are currently looking to hire multiple Tilers to join our team in the Auckland region. We are seeking individuals who demonstrate precision, care, and a commitment to producing high-standard results in every project.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare work areas by cleaning, levelling surfaces, and applying adhesives, waterproofing, or other base materials as required.
Interpret plans and layout designs to mark reference lines and ensure correct tile placement.
Cut, shape, and trim tiles using hand or machine tools to fit around obstacles and into specified spaces.
Lay and affix tiles to walls, floors, ceilings, and other surfaces using the appropriate adhesives and techniques.
Ensure tiles are aligned and spaced accurately, and apply grout to seal joints and achieve a consistent, professional finish.
Mix and apply bonding agents, grouts, and sealants to ensure strong adhesion and surface protection.
Keep the work area clean and organised at all times, including the proper handling and maintenance of tools and materials.
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Adhere strictly to workplace health and safety standards, and comply with all site safety protocols.
Perform other tasks as directed by the site supervisor or project manager to support project completion.
The candidate will be required to work at least 30 hours per week and be paid between $27 to $30 per hour.
Other important requirements:
Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience or relevant Level 4 qualifications.
Available to work on weekends
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Physically fit
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
