Description
Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to specifications
- Assemble and install joinery components such as doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture
- Install hardware and fittings such as hinges, handles, and locks
- Repair or replace damaged joinery components
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as electricians and plumbers to ensure proper installation of joinery items
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Joiner or similar role
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Strong knowledge of different types of joinery techniques and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting, masonry, and roofing is a plus

Pay: From £18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
