Tire/Lube Technician required (Mission)
employment type: full-time
Tire/Lube Technician required for expanding automotive service division at Mission Automotive.
Our team is welcoming new members to join our facility as we expand our service division. Applicants will be driven individuals who desire to further their careers in the automotive field and enjoy working in a high energy, goal-oriented environment.
Candidates should possess the following abilities relating to tire service:
- Effectively communicate required repairs, work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements with Service Advisors
- Knowledge of how to lift/lower vehicles safely using lifting equipment such as hoists, floor jacks and jack stands
- Experience with changing engine oil and filters (oil and air) on variety of domestic and import vehicles
- Experience resetting service minders
- Experience measuring tire tred depth and correcting tire pressures
- Experience with tire changing and balancing equipment is an asset
- Experience performing tire flat repairs and tire change overs (changing and balancing) for various tires and rim sizes ranging from small recreational vehicles to passenger vehicles is an asset
- Efficiently perform services in allotted time
- Communicate any service related issues with service staff
- Operate company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
Requirements:
- Valid class 5 driver's license
- Provide a satisfactory Driver's Abstract
- Experience in automotive industry relating to fluid change and tire changing /balancing services
- Actively implement feedback provided by Service staff
- Commitment to providing the best customer experience for clients and staff
