Fountain Tire Nanaimo, an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as a Tire Technician!

You will be responsible for:
Completing service calls and Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger, light truck, and medium truck tires and wheels
Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe
What does it take to get on track?
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 1 year + experience working with passenger, light truck, and medium truck tires
Experience working as a Service Truck Operator, and with OTR tires is a considerable asset
A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
A keen attention to detail
Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
Basic computer skills
Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms
