Experienced Toddler Room Leader – Part-Time or Full-Time
Hewish Road Childcare Centre, Croydon
Hewish Road Childcare Centre is seeking a passionate, experienced, and motivated Toddler Room Leader to join our warm and supportive team in Croydon.
This is a part-time or full-time opportunity within our 47-place boutique centre, where relationships, collaboration, and high-quality education are at the heart of everything we do.
We are looking for a confident leader who has the passion to work with toddlers and guide a team to create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
About the Role
As Toddler Room Leader, you will:
Lead and mentor educators within the toddler room
Create and implement engaging programs aligned with the EYLF and VEYLDF
Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Ensure compliance with NQS and Child Safe Standards
Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth
Essential Requirements
Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher)
Proven experience working in a toddler room
Previous room leader or leadership experience preferred
Engaging in the KG Learning approach
Strong knowledge of EYLF, VEYLDF, NQS, and Child Safe Standards
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates
Current Working with Children Check
Child Protection training
Excellent communication and organisational skills
