Job description
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide necessary support and resources to Tool and Die as well as machine shop personnel to assist them in the performance of their assigned duties.
• Set priorities for completion of tooling repairs and/or modifications and Machine shop projects with respect to available departmental resources.
• Complete Tooling Maintenance and Tooling Change Requests in the priority established in the tooling meetings.
• Coordinate the receipt and test runs of new and replacement tooling from outside vendors as well as Company Tool and Die.
• Coordinate Visits from company tool and Die personnel as required to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Work with Production Managers to maintain and improve plant tooling.
• Oversee maintenance and upkeep of departmental equipment.
• Provide support to Quality Assurance, Technical Accounts Manager, Sales and Extrusion to resolve quality issues.
• Conduct, organize and document Monthly tooling meetings
• Maintain proper staffing levels as well as train and develop any new employees
• Utilize and update all planning tools such as project management boards.
• Accept all incoming tooling, inspect and add to tooling inventory list.
• Assist production and set up personnel on the production floor when required.
• Manage the movement of any and all tooling into, or out of company including all paperwork and notification of appropriate parties.
• Create and maintain a complete tooling inventory for all dies, calibrators and tanks.
• Address all personnel issues.
• Enforce company policies and regulations.
• Conduct yearly performance reviews of subordinate personnel.
• Administrative tasks, as necessary.
• Position reports directly to Plant Manager.

Education:
• High School Degree or equivalent required
• Experience supervising multiple employees preferred
• Fine tuning and machining experience is a must
Pay Details: $32.00 to $3,500.00 per hour
