As a Tools Developer at Productivity Engineering team you will be instrumental in building scalable and reliable platforms and tools using Python and the latest technologies. Your primary focus will be on problem-solving in the domain of software delivery and release process automation, collaborating closely with our DevX team and developers across the company.
What will you do?
• Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable tools and platforms to support software delivery and release automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify pain points and implement innovative solutions.
• Design, code, test, and deploy high-quality Python-based software solutions.
• Utilize the latest and greatest technologies to drive continuous improvement in our automation processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tools and platforms promptly.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our offerings remain cutting-edge.
• Mentor junior team members and actively participate in knowledge sharing.
What are we looking for?
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 4+ years proven experience in building scalable and reliable platforms and tools using Python.
• Strong Coding, Design, troubleshooting and problem-solving ability in Python
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on automation and efficiency.
• Hands on with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a bonus.
• Good to have knowledge of monitoring, logging and alerting solutions - the more the better.
• Familiarity with modern software development methodologies and best practices (Agile/DevOps).
• Good understanding of SDLC process, Branching strategy & CI/CD etc
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to take up various roles in a startup environment with excellent communication skills and a strong team working ethic.
• A creative, independent, self-motivated person willing to learn new technologies
