What You'll Do
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Tools Engineer to join the MetaHuman team. In this role, you will work alongside talented professionals and contribute to our cutting-edge technology, enabling users to maximize the potential of MetaHuman products and services for creating industry-leading character animation.
In this role, you will
Develop tools and workflows for MetaHuman products within UE, enabling seamless integration and usability.
Work closely with the MetaHuman research team to incorporate emerging technologies into game development pipelines and production workflows.
Manage and maintain a suite of plugins for Unreal Engine and Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) projects, ensuring stability and performance.
Identify and solve technical challenges.
Contribute to documentation and best practices.
What we're looking for
Strong proficiency in C++ programming.
Professional experience in developing tools for games or VFX.
Knowledge of character animation systems and associated tooling within game development.
Familiarity with animation and graphics research, with the ability to translate research findings into practical applications.
Experience with UE4/UE5 or UEFN is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Passion for gaming technology and innovation.
