Job Description
We are currently seeking a motivated Tow Truck Driver to join our team in Trois-Rivières, QC from Sunday to Thursday starting at 8:00am to 5:00pm. You will play a vital role in our daily operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about automobiles, enjoy hands-on work and providing exceptional customer service.
What you’re responsible for:
• Safely operating a tow truck (flatbed)
• Transporting customer vehicles to the branch
• Maintain accurate records of towing assignments, including vehicle information, pick-up and drop-off locations, and any special instructions
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tow truck and equipment to ensure safe operation
• Performing general labour tasks that may including depollution, tire dismounting, etc.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors and customers to coordinate towing activities
• Provide our customers with excellent customer service!
Qualifications
To join our team:
• Must speak french
• Valid Class 5 driver's license in good standing;
• Knowledge of towing laws, regulations, and safety procedures
• Ability to operate and maneuver a tow truck safely in various road and weather conditions
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
