Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tower Technician to join our team. This is a junior-level position requiring 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience. The successful candidate will work across various locations including Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Idukki, Alappuzha, Ernakulam, and Kottayam. Employment types include Full-Time, Contract-To-Hire, and Contract roles.
Qualifications And Skills
• Minimum of 2 year of experience working as a Tower Technician or in a similar role.
• Thorough understanding of safety regulations and procedures to ensure safety during all tasks.
• Experience with RIGGER / TECHNICIAN roles and responsibilities, ensuring safe and efficient rigging processes.
• Proficiency in working at heights, including climbing and performing tasks on telecommunications towers.
• Hands-on experience with tower climbing equipment and safety mechanisms.
• Knowledge and application of fire safety measures relevant to tower installation and maintenance.
• Experience with tower cranes and their operational procedures.
• Skill in tower erection processes, from planning to execution, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with standards.
Roles And Responsibilities
• Climb and work on telecommunications towers to install, maintain, and repair equipment.
• Follow strict safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform quality checks and preventive maintenance on towers and related equipment.
• Coordinate with team members to plan and execute tower erections and dismantlings.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tower installation and maintenance regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including inspections, repairs, and installations.
• Communicate effectively with project managers and other stakeholders regarding project status and any challenges encountered.
