Job Title: Toxicology Technician
Report to: Associate Managers, Operation Manger(s) and Toxicology Operation Directors

Key Responsibilities
Prepare animal rooms, supplies, and equipment for studies.
Perform general animal husbandry, handling, room maintenance, dosing, and related procedures.
Collect data for Toxicology and Safety Pharmacology studies (cardiovascular, respiratory, and nervous systems).
Conduct inhalation study activities, including aerosol generation, sampling, and environmental monitoring (temperature, humidity, oxygen).
Perform technical procedures such as ECGs, blood pressure measurements, sample collection, and surgeries.
Operate, maintain, and calibrate study equipment.
Accurately document and verify study data in compliance with SOPs and GLP standards.
Assist with data review, quality control, and audit responses as needed.
Perform animal identification and randomization.
Report deviations or issues promptly and follow health and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
DEC in Animal Health Technology or relevant experience.
Attention to detail, good multi-tasking abilities and able to work in a dynamic environment.
Must be available to work weekends and/or shifts.
Must a able to lift between 20 and 40 pounds.
English is necessary for operational purposes
Assets:
Experience in handling animals is a definite asset.
Experience in a laboratory or other scientific environment is a plus.
Knowing French is an asset.
