Airseeding & General Tractor Operators - Seeding and ongoing
We are seeking farm machinery operators for planting of the winter cropping program as well as the cotton harvest in NSW across a number of farms and contracting crews across the eastern states.
Requirements
A farming background is preferable and experience in general servicing of farm equipment and proven skills of specific farm machinery operations and applications with the use of GPS would be great but all applicants will be considered.
Pre-seeding work will vary from farm to farm, and could include machinery servicing and pre-seeding maintenance, various tractor operations such as tramline renovating, spreading, fertilising, spraying and earthworks etc.
Seeding will require operating tractors with 40ft - 60ft, and in some case 80ft planters and air seeders. Other roles might include operating trailed rock pickers, front end loaders, chaser bins and trucks for filling the seeders etc.
Cotton Harvest requires operators for John Deere cotton pickers and strippers, and loader operators for collecting and moving cotton bales.
Wheat Harvest positions exist for header operators, chaser bin drivers, square baler operators for hay and straw, and cotton harvest.
Training will be provided. These roles are from September onwards, so register now if you are interested.
