Job Description
J P ELECTRICAL & SERVICES LIMITED is looking for Trade Assistants who will be responsible for assisting electricians with different tasks related to electrical repairs and maintenance. The candidate will be required to travel within the Auckland region and the cost of travel and fuel will be covered by the employer.
Key Duties:
Assist the electricians in installing electrical systems and equipment.
Assist with the maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
Use different types of tools like hand and power tools to perform various electrical tasks.
Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas.
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the management
Replacement of power meter modem, site visit.
Check faults in the modem and accordingly help the electrician.
Help with store work, assist in other management activities and general labour.
Work on asbestos after adequate training on the job.
Assisting in lifting the material and loading/unloading the supplies.
Assisting during the repair and breakdown.
The candidate will be required to work at least 30 hours per week and be paid between $25 to $28 per hour.
Other important requirements:
Related skills and knowledge will be highly preferred
A valid driver’s license is required.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Availability to work on weekends
Self-motivated and a passionate individual

Pay: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour
