Trade Assistant - (WOR0000XXXXXX)
Description
Join our Brisbane Workshop in a full-time role as a Trade Assistant providing support to our Workshop Tradesman. As a part of the team, you will be focused on ensuring our fleet is maintained to the highest standard. The role is ideal for a motivated and driven individual that is looking to break into the Heavy Vehicle industry and has a passion for learning in a collaborative and supportive team.
WHAT YOU WILL BEING DOING:
Assisting our team of mechanics to complete minor electrical repairs, panel beating repairs, washing our fleet, and ad-hoc tasks as required.
Carrying out basic servicing and repairs in the yard.
Working within the wider yard to ensure our fleet is up to a high standard – reporting any damage or repairs to the team.
Joining a supportive and collaborative team that prides itself on the work they do and the culture they create.
Working Monday to Friday 2pm - 10:06pm with generous overtime.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:
Current HR and forklift licenses (advantageous).
Truck and trailer driving experience (advantageous).
Previous experience in a similar role (preferred).
Mechanical knowledge or strong interest in the field (highly regarded).
Ability to perform well under pressure.
Commitment to safe work practices and procedures.
Willingness to learn and grow.
