The department is responsible for the capture & validations of fund accounting trades ensuring its proper booking in fund accounting books. The process also performs broker reconciliations for Exchange Traded Derivatives products
Role/Title: Team Leader / 502
BAU Management
Key Responsibilities would include:-
Oversee the daily operations of the fund accounting trade team and ensure that all trades are processed accurately and in a timely manner
Perform Positions & total equity reconciliations for ETD products
Ensure that team is meeting team targets
Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations & standard operating procedures
Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to trade processing in a timely manner
Collaborate with other departments, such as OSD and NAV VAL, to ensure seamless end-to-end trade processing
Continuously improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce risk
Prepare and present regular reports on team performance to senior management
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to fund accounting trade processing
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in fund accounting trade processing, Middle office or fund accounting NAV
Strong knowledge of trade processing systems, such as Bloomberg or BlackRock Aladdin
Excellent team player with a proven track record
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders & team
Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize competing demands
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong understanding of industry regulations, such as SEC rules, and best practices related to trade processing
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
