Job Description:
The Trade Marketing Executive will be responsible for the execution of trade marketing strategies that drive sales, brand visibility, and market share across retail and wholesale channels. The role will work closely with sales, marketing, and brand team to ensure effective in-store execution and alignment with overall brand objectives. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of both sales and marketing with hands-on experience in trade or channel marketing.
Responsibilities:
1. Implement trade marketing plans for specific product categories or brands across various retail and distribution channels (e.g., modern trade& general trade).
2. Ensure trade programs align with brand objectives and sales targets, including in-store promotions, merchandising, and point-of-sale materials (POSM).
3. Work closely with the sales team to understand market trends, customer preferences, and challenges in different regions or channels.
4. Provide support for key account management through promotional activities and trade negotiations.
5. Ensure flawless execution of trade marketing activities such as merchandising, displays, and promotions within retail outlets.
6. Coordinate the distribution and installation of marketing materials, including in-store banners, stands, and signages.
7. Conduct regular store visits to evaluate the effectiveness of merchandising and trade marketing programs.
8. Work with sales data to monitor the impact of promotional activities on sales uplift and brand visibility.
9. Build and maintain relationships with key retailers, distributors, and internal teams to drive trade marketing initiatives.
10. Identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the trade marketing space.
Qualifications:
· Experience:
· 1-2 years of experience in trade marketing, brand management, or retail marketing, ideally within FMCG, consumer goods, or a related industry.
Skills:
· Strong understanding of trade marketing strategies and retail execution.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
· Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret sales data and consumer insights to inform marketing decisions.
· Good organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
· Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
