The Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Trade Relationship Coordinator to join our Housing Maintenance team based in Dunedin.
Reporting to the Delivery Manager , you’ll play a key role in managing and supporting our subcontractor network across parts of the lower South Island.
This newly created position is crucial to maintaining a capable and reliable network of trades, ensuring timely delivery of residential maintenance services while upholding our standards of safety, compliance, and performance.
Working across multiple platforms, including our Works Management System (WMS), your attention to detail and ability to navigate competing priorities will be critical to your success.
You'll join a supportive and experienced team committed to knowledge-sharing, collaboration and ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and schedule subcontractors for both planned and reactive residential maintenance activities
Support onboarding, induction, and capability tracking to maintain a reliable subcontractor network
Monitor subcontractor compliance with health and safety and contractual obligations
Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, internal teams, and clients
Manage accurate service records, documentation, and data entry across systems
Generate performance reports and collaborate across teams to resolve issues and drive service delivery outcomes
About You
Proven experience in a fast-paced or reactive maintenance environment with strong organisational and time-management skills
Confident administrator with coordination or scheduling experience, ideally involving subcontractor management
Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to adapt to new systems, including job management or scheduling tools
High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet performance targets
Solutions-focused team player with a KPI-driven mindset and an understanding of trades or residential maintenance (desirable)
