The primary function of the Technician position at The Water Heater Company is to expertly install, maintain, and repair residential water heaters, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This role requires continuous advancement in technical ability and product knowledge, promoting the brand, managing accurate van stock inventory, and demonstrating effective time management and autonomy in work execution. Position Overview

Hours:
• Full-Time
• 5 days per week (starts at 8am)

Position Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Technical certification in plumbing or HVAC preferred
• 1+ year/s of experience in water heater installation and repair, or general plumbing
• Experience with tank and tankless water heating systems preferred
• Able to sit, stand, and kneel for lengths of time
• Able to walk, climb, crawl, and lift heavy objects throughout the work day
• Able to visually inspect equipment and interpret technical drawings/schematics
• Able to perform basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Fluent in speaking English and effectively communicating with our clients, team members, vendors, etc.
• Unwavering enthusiasm, positivity, and dedication toward achieving goals and exceeding expectations in the workplace.
• Valid driver's license required and clean motor vehicle check
• Able to pass a background check and drug test
