We’re on the hunt for a passionate and dynamic Trading Manager to join our vibrant deli team and drive our market share to new heights.
In this thrilling role, you’ll be at the forefront of launching innovative deli products that captivate and delight, enhancing customer experiences with every interaction, championing sustainable practices, and expanding our market reach like never before.
We’re looking for someone with a proven track record in trading, exceptional analytical and communication skills, top-notch negotiation and project management abilities, and a flair for creativity and innovation. If you have a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences, this is your chance to shine and make a real impact.
To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.

What you’ll do
Your key accountabilities will include
• Deliver the operating plan, by driving sales and market share within deli
• Deliver profit growth through driving the Lowering Costs programme and managing key costs
• Ensure all categories within your cluster deliver the ranging critical path accurately and on time
• Lead your category team to build and communicate a strategy to your Head of Trading, which will achieve the goals set out by the Food Group
• Lead an inclusive, high-performing team through strategic guidance, collaboration, and a culture that values diversity and individual strengths.
