Job Responsibilities:
Work closely with various teams on CSDR and 15C3 regulatory requirement and Maintain client accounts for SSI reference data with the help of MO and third party systems.
Perform reconciliations and ongoing remediation of Suspense & Nostro breaks on the back of regulatory requirements and ensure accuracy and completeness of market instructions.
Allocate total trade quantity across various sub accounts on the back of instructions received from the clients followed by a formal trade confirmation process and Ensure all transactions are correctly matched for smooth settlement
Action and perform root cause analyses on new / recurring issues or control gaps
Escalate issues for any urgent matters or assistance and Produce time sensitive daily reports with actionable data to Global Middle Office or Settlement Teams for break resolutions
Ensure all tasks are completed within timeframes, processing windows, market regulations, bank policies, or what is deemed prudent to minimize risk.
Continuously participate in projects involving new system implementation, process improvements, etc and Review & Investigate Suspense breaks
Take ownership of work, problems, clarify issues / objections, and ensure data integrity, accuracy and completeness
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
Graduate or Post-Graduate with 2-3 years' experience in operations.
A strong control mindset and adherence to a high degree of business ethics and In-depth experience with equity products and global markets
Deal with day-to-day issues as well as planning and executing projects / initiatives
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to develop relationships across the various stakeholders including Senior Business executives
Excellent attention to detail, and an ability to know when a deep-dive approach is appropriate
Skilled in MS office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access and Project
Can operate effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines, and can prioritize one's own and team's work to achieve them and Be innovative and suggest system improvement capabilities.
Ability to multi task, ensuring the trades are booked correctly, breaks are resolved and MIS being sent to managers on deadlines and Flexibility to work global hours and willing to travel globally, if needed
