Job Title: Software Engineer - Trading Software
Overview: We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our trading software development team. As a Software Engineer, you will work on developing and improving our trading software, ensuring it is reliable, efficient, and user-friendly.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and test trading software applications using programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including traders, quantitative analysts, and other developers to deliver high-quality trading software.
Create and maintain documentation, including software design specifications and user manuals.
Continuously improve trading software applications by analyzing performance data, debugging and troubleshooting issues, and implementing new features and enhancements.
Ensure the security and stability of the trading software applications by following best practices and standards for software development.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on trading software preferred.
Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, Java, or Python.
Knowledge of trading systems, financial markets, and exchange protocols.
Experience with databases, networking, and distributed systems.
Understanding of software development best practices and methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
