Role Overview
As a Data Analyst – Fresher (MSc Statistics) at FrogData, you will work on developing statistical models, analyzing large datasets, and deriving actionable insights to support our AI-powered analytics products for the automotive industry. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to enhance our data-driven decision-making solutions.
Expereince: 0 to 1 years
Key Responsibilities
• Work with large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to automotive dealerships.
• Develop statistical models, forecasting techniques, and predictive analytics for various business functions.
• Apply regression analysis, hypothesis testing, time series analysis, and other statistical techniques to solve business problems.
• Assist in data preprocessing, cleaning, and transformation to ensure high-quality analytics.
• Support the implementation of machine learning algorithms under the guidance of senior data scientists.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers and product managers, to improve data pipelines and analytics capabilities.
• Generate reports and dashboards using statistical tools and visualization platforms like Python, R, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Stay updated with the latest statistical methodologies and industry trends to enhance analytical capabilities.
Required Qualifications & Skills
• MSc in Statistics from a Tier 1 / reputed university.
• Strong foundation in statistical concepts, probability, and data analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of R, Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Statsmodels) for data manipulation and statistical modeling.
• Familiarity with SQL for querying and managing databases.
• Basic understanding of machine learning concepts is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Good communication skills to present data-driven insights effectively.
