Full Job Description
This position requires in-depth knowledge of Autodesk Flame with operational experience of both SDR, HDR and DI projects from the setup through the finishing process. An ideal candidate will have conform and VFX experience with additional software platforms such as Nuke, Baselight and demonstrate familiarity with motion picture camera formats, resolutions, frame-rates and codecs. He/she will be responsible for fine detail conform and finishing of Feature, Episodic or similar projects with original camera footage, VFX, and graphic elements based on client-supplied turnover materials. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, a thorough understanding of the postproduction process, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues alike.
Conform Feature, Episodic and similar projects from camera original files, delivered VFX and graphic elements
Bid, track and execute VFX and advanced compositing work
Perform advanced optical, re-speed & clean-up work
Work on composite titles
Run client attend sessions both in facility and remotely
Assume responsibility for technical accuracy of conform
Work with Color Assists and Engineers to ensure smooth sessions for Colorists
Communicate project developments, issues, and timeframes with project manager
Other duties within the department, as assigned
Essential Skills
Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Flame, Nuke, Baselight
Demonstrated familiarity with Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere and other NLE software
Feature film and television workflow experience
Advanced knowledge of post-production workflows
Advanced visual effects capabilities (dynamic speed changes, repositions, clean up, titling etc)
Understanding of professional audio/video standards
Mac, Windows, and Linux OS proficiency
Ability to interact with clients and perform quality work under deadline pressure
