About The Role
At Kinetic IT, we’re offering a paid 12-month Store Person traineeship where you’ll learn on the job, gain hands-on experience, and work towards a Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations (Warehousing Operations)—no prior experience required.
This traineeship is more than just learning technical skills—it’s your chance to build real-world experience, develop professional habits, and kickstart a long-term career.
We don’t just hire for IT roles. This is a unique, onsite, hands-on opportunity to join one of our largest accounts as a Trainee Store Person. If you’re motivated, reliable, and ready to learn, this could be your first step into the tech and corporate industry.
Responsibilities will include:
I’ll work closely with an experienced Store Person and learn the ropes while gaining practical experience. Your day-to-day will include:
Receiving, checking, and safely storing ICT equipment
Keeping accurate inventory records and supporting stock counts
Picking, packing, and preparing items for dispatch
Asset tagging and registering hardware
Supporting desk moves and equipment relocations
Following workplace safety procedures (including PPE use)
Assisting with process improvements and general store tasks
Creating inventory and asset reports
What you’ll bring to the table:
18 years or older
A self-starter who takes initiative and is keen to learn
Very organised with attention to detail
Proactive and hardworking- ready to tackle tasks and solve problems
Positive attitude and a team player
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Available to work full-time onsite (Monday to Friday)
No prior qualifications (perfect for someone starting out!)
