Join a close-knit, passionate team at Uniting St John’s Child Care in Neutral Bay that provides high-quality education and care to children from 0 to age 6. With a focus on nurturing each child’s individuality, our educators play a meaningful role in helping children build strong foundations for lifelong learning. Conveniently located near public transport, our 44-place service offers a welcoming, supportive environment where collaboration, creativity and genuine connection with families are at the heart of everything we do.

What you’ll be doing in this role
As a Trainee, you will be allowed to study while gaining valuable experience in the Early Learning field. You’ll learn to provide quality education and care to children to help support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework!
Your work may include:
Developing positive relationships that support children, their families and community.
Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children’s interest, strengths, and abilities.
Commitment to studying and learning while working in a rewarding environment
Who we’re looking for
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age
No previous qualifications of certificate 3 in Early Learning
Be passionate about working with children of all ages.
You’ll be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
