Job Description
Role Purpose
Manage and deliver high-quality training content and learning experience design for specialized airport training programs, ensuring instructional excellence, consistency, and long-term sustainability.
This role owns the how of learning: instructional design, content structure, quality, and maintainability across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Lifecycle Management and Accountability
Manage and coordinate the full content lifecycle for assigned programs, from design to retirement, aligned with Product Portfolio decisions
Translate complex technical subject matter into clear, learner-centric training experiences
Ensure consistency across delivery formats and programs
Act as primary owner for content readiness and instructional quality
2. Learning Experience & Instructional Design
Design coherent end-to-end learning journeys using adult learning principles
Apply experiential, scenario-based, and problem-centred learning approaches
Ensure learning experiences are practical, immersive, and operationally relevant
Maintain instructional design standards, templates, and guidelines
3. Content Architecture & Sustainability
Structure content for reuse, scalability, and efficient updates
Maintain version control, traceability, and documentation
Reduce long-term maintenance risk through sound content design and governance
4. Quality Assurance & Governance
Apply content quality standards and validation checkpoints
Conduct systematic reviews and instructional integrity checks
Ensure compliance with governance, brand, and aviation-specific requirements
5. SME & Instructor Collaboration
Work closely with SMEs and instructors to co-create and validate content
Translate expert input into learner-ready materials without losing technical depth
Support instructors by ensuring content is clear and delivery-ready
6. Learning Technology & Innovation
Use LMS, authoring tools, and AI-assisted tools to support scalable delivery
Pilot new learning approaches where they add clear learning value
Ensure technology supports quality and sustainability, not complexity
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Product (strategy and lifecycle alignment)
Partner with Training Operations & Enablement (delivery readiness and feedback)
Support smooth handover from content design to delivery
