Role Description / Position Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Healthcare Unit Trainer to join our team and contribute to the ongoing development of our healthcare professionals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare, combined with excellent communication and training skills.
The Healthcare Unit Trainer will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our healthcare staff is well-equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, and competencies to deliver high-quality patient care and support the overall success of our healthcare unit.
Responsibilities :
Develop, implement, and deliver comprehensive training programs for healthcare staff within the unit, including nurses, medical assistants, administrative personnel, and other team members.
Collaborate with department managers and subject matter experts to identify training needs, content, and objectives based on industry standards, best practices, and organizational goals.
Ensure NABH & JCI audits are compliant on Training metrics and ensure 0 Non Compliance (NC)
Create engaging training materials, presentations, and resources such as manuals, videos, and online modules to effectively convey complex medical concepts and procedural information.
Ensure seamless onboarding and own member onboarding experience on 30, 60, 90 day journey and curb infant attrition
Conduct hands-on and theoretical training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance staff knowledge and skillsets in areas such as patient care protocols, medical procedures, safety protocols, and compliance with NAHB, JCI & ISO requirements & regulations.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, and make continuous improvements to ensure learning outcomes are achieved.
Provide ongoing coaching and support to healthcare professionals, offering guidance on best practices, professional development, and areas for improvement.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and medical research to ensure the integration of the latest information into training programs.
Collaborate with the leadership team to identify opportunities for process improvement, and contribute to the development and implementation of new initiatives within the unit.
Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and individual progress to facilitate reporting and compliance requirements.
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute insights to improve patient care coordination and communication between healthcare teams.
Ensure unit specific Training strategy is in alignment with Annual Operating plan’ of Unit.
Ensure training cadence, report out and review with unit & regional leadership
Desired Skills & Competencies
Executive communication skills - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse healthcare staff.
Good knowledge in MS office mandatory Excel, Visio & PPT to create reports and organizational messaging
Strong project & stakeholder management skills
Industry knowledge on new age learning, MooC and engagement platforms mandatory
Proven experience working in a healthcare environment, with a solid understanding of clinical procedures, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations would be an advantage
Prior experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for healthcare professionals is preferred.
Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to organize and manage training materials, schedules, and documentation.
