Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Design and Development
• Research, design, and develop training content across a variety of topics, including effective writing, customer service, security best practices, leadership development, succession planning, and new hire orientation
• Develop training that supports frontline security operations, safety awareness, and leadership effectiveness
• Create facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, and presentations
• Ensure content is clear, engaging, and aligned with organizational standards
• Revise and update existing training materials based on feedback and business needs
Facilitation and Delivery:
• Facilitate training sessions for security officers, supervisors, and leadership in in-person, virtual, and hybrid environments
• Adapt delivery style to meet the needs of frontline employees and operational leaders
• Lead engaging, interactive sessions that promote participation and knowledge retention
Learning Systems and Administration
• Support the administration and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS)
• Upload, assign, and track training content and completion records
• Build and manage Smartsheet trackers, training calendars, and reporting tools
• Assist with scheduling, logistics, and coordination of training sessions
Evaluation and Continuous Improvement:
• Develop surveys, assessments, and feedback tools to measure training effectiveness
• Conduct basic needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training opportunities
• Analyze feedback and data to improve training programs and materials
Additional Responsibilities:
• Support training logistics, including setup, materials preparation, and inventory management
• Lift and transport training materials and equipment (up to 50 lbs) as needed
• Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Provide general administrative support related to training operations
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field preferred; relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• 1–3 years of experience in training, teaching, facilitation, or instructional design
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Experience creating presentations and training materials from scratch
• Ability to facilitate training for a variety of audiences
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in environments where safety, customer experience, and professionalism are critical (e.g., security, retail, hospitality, healthcare, or property management)
• Experience developing or delivering training for service-based or public-facing roles
• Familiarity with security operations, safety protocols, or related field training
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and course administration
• Experience using Smartsheet or similar project management tools
• Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Rise 360, Storyline, etc.)
• Experience editing reports, professional documents, or instructional materials
• Experience creating surveys, assessments, and evaluating training effectiveness
Work Environment:
• Combination of office, classroom, and field environments
• Requires in-person facilitation and occasional travel between locations
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs of training materials or equipment
