Transport Administrator

About The Role

Due to the continued growth of the business, we are looking for an experienced administrator to support our busy transport depot in Barton.

The Transport Administrator role primarily supports the depot management team with varied administrative functions.

As the transport administrator you will be required to work any 5 out of 7 days, Monday to Sunday. Hours of work are 10:00-18:00.

Main Responsibilities:

• Basic administrative duties such as; Answering of emails, telephone calls and filing daily

• Conduct detailed debrief of drivers/porters after their routes each day

• Ensure all drivers have completed their relevant vehicle checks at the end of the day and downloaded their tachograph card

• Any vehicle/box defects that are reported within the debrief are to be directed to the supervisor, in order to book in for repair

• Loading feedback log to be kept and sent daily

• Weekly working time directive report to be actioned weekly

• Actioning missing items CCTV checks and updating the reports accordingly

• Scanning performance log to be monitored and anybody underperforming to be referred to supervisor

About You

• At least 1 years experience working in busy admin role

• Proficient in Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft packages

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
