What this job involves?
Location : Whitefield, Bangalore - Karnataka (India)
1. Qualification
Any graduate degree
2. Work Experience
a. 3-5 years’ experience in a multinational company.
b. 2 years’ experience in handling travel desk with the below exposure
i. Have experience handling employee travel requests, including international
ii. Have expert level of knowledge of travel policies and processes so as to advise the
employees
iii. Have experience of handling issues during travel
3. Skill set The candidates should :
a. Have good communication skills
b. Have good negotiating skills
c. Be assertive with vendors
d. Be good at managing dashboards and reporting
e. Have the ability to be top of things to ensure travel is hassle-free
4. Role description
1. The role will be called Facility Executive Travel’. It is a very high-impact role that needs
high diligence, honesty and sincerity. The person filling the role will have to be flexible to
take calls beyond working hours and attend to urgent requirements that may come up
from employees while travelling.
2. The role will report into the Admin Site Lead.
3. It requires receiving travel requests and arranging all the travel requirements by
coordinating with the respective vendors for the below :
a. Booking air / rail / bus tickets
b. Booking accommodation
c. Getting travel insurance
d. Organizing point to point pick up and drop by cab / taxi
e. Arranging foreign currency cards with bank and loading it with currency
f. Arranging foreign currency in cash
g. Attending to any emergencies or urgent requirements from employees while
travelling
4. The role also requires :
a. Helping employees fill Travel Request Forms and claims.
b. Maintaining up-to-date dashboards
c. Reporting the progress of each travel and issues that may arise, on a day-to-day
basis.
d. Escalating issues where required
e. Reporting issues and policy violations by employees promptly

To land this job, you must be a graduate of any discipline with three to five years’ experience in transport management in a BPO setting.
You must also demonstrate an aptitude in working with a team. Furthermore, you must have a solid background in developing and monitoring improvement programs.
