Position Overview:
Our client is looking for an OBS Maternity Nurse for a Travel Nurse position. The ideal candidate will assist in providing comprehensive care across the labour and delivery, postpartum, and nursery spectrum in a 24/7 hospital setting. Core Responsibilities:
· Deliver high-quality nursing care to antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum patients, and newborns
· Rotate between labour & delivery, postpartum, and nursery based on unit needs
· Monitor fetal and maternal health using surveillance technology
· Assist with deliveries and immediate newborn care
· Stabilize and care for infants admitted to a Level 2A nursery (≥34 weeks gestation or ≥1800g)
· Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe patient outcomes
· Document care using Meditech electronic charting system
Qualifications:
· Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ontario, and maintain in good standing on CNO
· NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
· Fetal Health Surveillance course completion
· Minimum 2 years of experience in Labour & Delivery and/or Postpartum nursing
· Meditech experience strongly preferred
· Experience caring for newborns in a Level 2A nursery or higher
· Ability to work 12-hour shifts (7am–7pm or 7pm–7am) on a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays
· Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and assessment skills
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

From $75.00 per hour
