Job Description
• Work in a float pool covering various ICU units including Burn ICU, CCU, Medical ICU, SICU, Trauma ICU, and Neuro ICU.
• Maintain up to ratios of 1:2, 1:4, or 1:5.
• Manage and interpret arterial and central lines.
• Administer continuous IV sedation and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Handle BiPAP/CPAP and ventilated patient management.
• Interpret ABGs and perform suctioning.
• Follow isolation precautions as needed.
• Be open to mandatory floating to different units within 50 miles if required.
• No block scheduling or consecutive RTO exceeding 5 days, with specific restrictions on holidays and weekends.
• Complete a 24-hour orientation period.
