Travel & Expense Specialist
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join Gartner’s Global Travel and Expense team as a Travel Specialist responsible for supporting Gartner’s Global Travel program and visa processes. As a Travel Specialist, you will get to work with Gartner travelers all over the world while you help them navigate policy, process and travel visa needs. You will be supported by Gartner’s preferred travel suppliers as well as peers on the corporate card and expense team.
Shift Hours:
Working hours expectations: 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm IST.
What you will do:
Management of the team shared email box: including answering questions, from associates worldwide and suppliers on Gartner processes. Triaging emails to the respective team when necessary to meet customer service SLA.
Understand Gartner’s travel program, processes and Global T&E Policy.
Assist travellers with travel visa questions and needs in collaboration with Gartner’s preferred visa supplier.
Provide support and education to associates for general travel program and T&E process inquiries.
Work with preferred travel suppliers to resolve traveller issues.
Drive and support continuous improvement by supporting management initiatives.
Complete special projects and other responsibilities as assigned (ex. simplifying current visa process).
What you will need:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Willingness to learn new skills and take direction.
Be autonomous and own your role.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to learn new tools quicky.
Ability to communicate with a diverse audience at various levels while considering cultural differences.
Strong initiative and willingness to take on projects in a proactive manner.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
Work experience in travel & expense, travel visas, or similar business functions.
