Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR Tech for a high-acuity operating room assignment with strong endovascular skills required.
Details
Position is in a hospital CVOR operating room
Focus on cardiac and vascular procedures, including strong endovascular cases
Day shifts with 10-hour AM shifts
No on-call required
Assignment is for 13 weeks
Requirements
Minimum of 18 months recent full-time CVOR experience within the past 3 years in a similar acuity setting
Proven proficiency with both cardiac and vascular surgical procedures with strong endovascular experience
BLS certification required
License required if applicable
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
Former staff may apply if separated for at least 1 year (18 months if returning to the same facility)
Additional Information
Must demonstrate competency in a variety of cannulations, aorta cases, and adult cardiac procedures
Will work closely with a specialized team of CVOR nurses and surgeons
Must participate in completion of required perioperative services questionnaire regarding cardiac and vascular skills
Strict RTO policy: maximum of 5 days off if not on/near a holiday, 3 days if on/near a holiday, and only 1 holiday request allowed
RTO during the holiday period must be spread out and not grouped
Candidates can only be considered for one position at a time
