About the role


Joining our high performing Treasury Back Office team, you will ensure the accurate and timely execution of daily Treasury settlement activities, while maintaining strong internal controls and driving continuous process improvement.


This role is pivitol in supporting the Treasury team's financial risk management objectives and contributes to strategic decision-making by collaborating closely with internal teams, external stakeholders, and banking partners to ensure seamless and efficient Treasury operations.


Key Responsibilities:


Execute and oversee daily Treasury settlements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
Collaborate closely with Front Office, Middle Office, and Finance teams to support seamless execution of Treasury transactions and funding activities
Manage and reconcile cash positions across multiple Group bank accounts and entities
Process manual EFT payments (when required) via corporate banking platforms and/or Ampol systems, ensuring proper authorisation and documentation
Investigate and resolve settlement discrepancies in coordination with internal stakeholders and external banking partners to ensure timely resolution
Maintain and update Treasury documentation, including but not limited to banking signatory lists, standard settlement instructions, KYC records and procedure manuals

About you


You will have excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills and be a strong communicator, with the ability to manage competing priorities. Additionally, you will be motivated to grow your career within Ampol and take on business improvements.


Key skills and experience


Experience in a Treasury, Finance Operations, or Settlement role
Prior experience using a Treasury Management System (e.g., Integrity, Quantum, GTreasury)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Solid understanding of banking operations, payment systems, and financial controls
Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence
