Department: Treasury
Designation: Treasury Analyst
Roles & Responsibilities:
Assist in managing $1B+ in global bank lines (managing bank utilization, managing cash position, loan booking)
Liaise with banks to present new transactions, assist in reviewing bank fees and charges, and assist in receivable discounting
Independently verify and/or resolve payment inquiries
Contact banks for any discrepancies that may occur
Ability to research and resolve any issues related to payments in JD Edwards.
Independently manage open balances to ensure all invoices are paid on time
Utilize ERP system to provide documentation or research any AR related issues
Process daily vendor and supplier payments
Send all payment support to various companies after each payment posting
Liaise with traders and other Tricon department (credit, legal, ops) to ensure strict policies are followed;
Strictly follow payment policies and use of proper judgment aimed at fully mitigating cyber-security risks;
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
At least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving ability.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with an ERP would be an advantage (Oracle JD Edwards).
Ability to meet deadlines, detail oriented, work independently as well as with team, interact with different departments simultaneously.
Preferred:
Relevant work experience with accounting firm or in an accounting/finance department.
Background in SQL or any other advanced computer skills
