The Treasury Analyst supports all aspects of Treasury Operations activities. This position will assist the Senior Financial Analyst Analyst with processing accounting information to include but not limited to month end and year end close process, general ledger balance sheet, audit preparation, and journal entry preparation. This position will prepare data for further analysis of banking transactions and fees. This position will analyze merchant services transaction and fees. This position will record monthly journal entries for all treasury related transactions including the pooled investments portfolio and debt transactions. This position will assist with investment account reconciliations and preparing investment schedules monthly and quarterly. This position will prepare bank accounts reconciliation, merchant accounts reconciliation, and outstanding checks reconciliation. This position will be responsible for outstanding checks management, reporting, and reconciling bank ledgers to corporate ledgers, and will work closely with AP on reducing paper check payments initiative. This position will be responsible for preparing reports to audit bank entitlements and authorizations. This position will work with banks to order supplies as necessary. This position will work with business units and provide full support regarding merchant services operations, POS operations, merchant IDs open/close, cards terminals operability, and address any issues working closely with Patient Payments solution provider, merchant services provider, and banks. This position will work with Treasury database and Cash management modules of the ERP system to ensure timely operations recording, actualization of the cash forecast, and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

Responsible for Point-of-Sale operations recording and reconciliation.

Assist the Senior Treasury Analyst with processing accounting information to include but not limited to month end and year end close process, general ledger balance sheet, audit preparation, and journal entry preparation.

Responsible for recording monthly journal entries for all treasury related transactions including the pooled investments portfolio and debt transactions.

Responsible for outstanding checks management, reporting, and reconciliation, works closely with Accounts Payable Group to propose action items aiming to reduce paper check payments.

Responsible for bank entitlements and authorizations audit process.

Works with banks to order supplies as necessary, support merchant services operations, merchant IDs open/close, cards terminals operability.

Responsible for the analysis of bank services fees and merchant services fees.

Prepares schedules and analyses to assist with preparation audit work papers.

Prepares schedules and analyses to assist with preparation of budget including interest income and expense.

Qualifications

Minimum Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Bachelor's Degree Accounting, Finance Preferred

Minimum Work Experience

1-3 years experience in accounting, financial services, or revenue cycle operations Required
