What does the role involve?
Reporting into the Treasury Manager, you'll join our UK Group Treasury team who independently manage and execute around £6 billion of multi-currency funding for the UK group using a variety of foreign currency sources, derivatives, programmes and facilities, as well as implementing and managing all banking services and payment systems.
This is a unique opportunity for a Treasury Assistant to join our team on a 3 month fixed term contract where you'll support the team with duties over a busy period of system implementation and holiday cover.
Some of your key duties will include:
Prepare daily GBP, Euro, USD, and JPY cash management positioning, and determine the net funding/deposit required in each currency
Managing the cash settlements in multiple currencies of interest payments
Confirming the details of trades and security issuances
Reconciling the daily cash management and the statement of the Group's total debt and derivatives position summary
What are we looking for?
To be considered for this opportunity you'll ideally hold a degree in a relevant subject e.g., Finance, Economics, Business Studies, Accounting etc) or will have relevant experience and will have an interest in Treasury.
