Treasury and Balance Sheet Management (TBSM) is hiring a Treasury Manager to be the lead portfolio manager on various key hedging portfolios. The Balance Sheet Hedging team within TBSM is responsible for effectively hedging the non-trading market risk position (including interest rate, foreign exchange and non-trading equity risk) of the enterprise non-trading balance sheet. It accomplishes this by working closely with TBSM partners and executing capital markets transactions (including the use of interest rate, FX and equity derivatives and options) with market participants.
Department Overview
Treasury and Balance Sheet Management (TBSM) is responsible for overseeing the management and optimization of TD's balance sheet ensuring financial strength and stability in support of its businesses, including the development and implementation of treasury frameworks, strategies and objectives for Capital Management and Allocation, Liquidity and Funding, Asset and Liability Management (ALM), Investment Management and Funds Transfer Pricing that maximizes risk adjusted returns.
Job Requirements
Experience in a front office environment, treasury, risk or a similar role
Expert knowledge of capital markets, including fixed income investments and use of derivatives in managing risk.
Deep knowledge of the features and characteristics of banking products and financial risks associated with them.
Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external partners and to work effectively in teams.
Strong ability to perform in a dynamic market environment with tight deadlines.
University degree in Business, Economics or a related field
CFA, FRM or MBA would be an asset
