Introduction:
This role is for a Tech lead position that requires sound technical knowledge on .NET, SQL server and web services. You will be expected to define and lead agile delivery process this application. You will be expected to be well versed with Cloud and Devops best practices.
What will you be doing?
• Ensure that the team delivers good quality and maintainable code with high test coverage
• Be hands-on in development, code reviews and unit testing
• Contribute to architecture and design decisions
• Expertise in optimizing, refining and performance tuning applications, script and processes
• Highlight and managing risks and issues via effective controls and standard Barclays processes
• Enhance and improve the application development capability within the team, via automation and innovation
• Produce various management information reports showing trend analysis, KPI's and executive summaries

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Multi skilled individual with hands-on ability to execute a development project, delivery management, requirements elicitation in addition to leading a team of both permanent and Managed services developers and Devops engineers.
• Experience of working with a MQ
• Hands on with .NET, SQL server and web services .
• Experience in defining and implementing Dev-Ops pipelines
• Experience of working in a distributed team
• Build languages such as Ant or Maven with continuous integration tools such as TeamCity or Jenkins.
• Experience in Cloud adoption for implementing a micro service architecture application.
• Functional knowledge in Risk, Finance and Treasury domain within a bank.
