We are currently seeking a Chiropractic Treatment Assistant who is professional, detail-oriented, and passionate about healthcare.
As a Chiropractic Treatment Assistant, you play a vital clinical and operational role within our practice. You are responsible for delivering an exceptional first impression, completing the first portion of patient assessments, supporting the chiropractor, and ensuring smooth patient flow throughout the clinic.
You will work directly alongside Dr. Raman, assisting with both initial assessments and follow-up visits.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Experience & Professional Conduct:
Greet patients warmly and professionally
Provide short clinic tours for new patients
Maintain a calm, confident, and welcoming presence
Communicate clearly using simple, non-medical language
Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with PHIA & PIPEDA guidelines
Follow a strict no-phone policy during working hours
Initial Assessment Duties:
You will complete the first half of each Chiropractic Examination, including:
Completing intake questions and history
Uploading reports to patient files
You must be accurate, organized, and efficient while maintaining a positive patient experience.
Clinical Equipment & Systems:
You will regularly work with:
Digital blood pressure monitors
Height and weight scales
Range of Motion scanning technology
Gait analysis systems
Electronic health record software (Juvonno)
Technical proficiency and comfort with software are required.
Follow-Up Patient Assistance:
Prepare patients for adjustments (heat, stretching guidance, exercises)
Manage patient flow between rooms
Ensure rooms are prepped before the chiropractor enters
Assist with care plan follow-up and scheduling support
Clinic Operations & Cleanliness:
Sanitize equipment after each use
Maintain treatment room organization
Restock supplies
Perform end-of-shift cleaning duties
Assist with weekly cleaning and organization tasks
Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a professional environment are essential.
Job Requirements
Prior experience in a medical office setting is preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology is highly desirable
Experience with electronic medical records systems is essential
Office experience demonstrating strong organizational skills is required
Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and confidentiality standards are essential
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively within a team
Comfortable working directly with patients
Previous clinical or healthcare experience is an asset but not mandatory — we provide structured training.
