Our large government client is undertaking a major project to upgrade mission systems that include specialist software and hardware, technologies, data and information and communication technology. They are aiming to provide systems capable of handling increased data volumes, processing overheads and levels of interconnectivity across security domains required to keep pace with Defence needs.
We are seeking an experienced Trellix Solution Architect to complete technical specifications and implementation activities for a range of security building block functions based on the Trellix security solutions. The Architect will integrate Trellix with other major SION system functions including the networking, HCI/Virtual )VMWare VCF) environment, security governance/enforcement, and support components, both within the system and external networks.
An active NV1 Security Clearance is an essential requirement to this role.
About you
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Support the expanded usage of the Trellix solution by utilising additional features and unused entitlements and through integration with other technologies.
Provide and execute recommendations to improve the effectiveness of AGOs security controls, including the alignment to evolving requirements.
Provide and execute recommendations to leverage features of the Trellix solution to enhance security workflows within AGO.
Provide and execute recommendations to improve system health, stability and performance.
Provide provision of advice to the project to resolve issues or escalation of Trellix technical support staff for further assistance.
Ongoing mentoring to enhance AGOs ability to operate the Trellix solution and effectively respond to operational solutions.
Requirements:
NV1 Security Clearance minimum
Similar experience within large Government organisations/Defence
Solid knowledge and experience with Trellix security solutions.
